About me

Cori LaVergne is a visual artist born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ever since childhood they have been enthralled by making things with their hands and storytelling. They decided to pursue the combination of the two in a professional capacity.

Cori attended Northwest School of the Arts for high school and majored in Costume Design and Technical Theatre. Cori graduated in December 2022 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with their Bachelors of Art in Dramatic Arts and Anthropology and a minor in Folklore. They are fascinated by the beauty of the mundane and the complexity of the human condition, which they hope to explore both artistically and anthropologically in future endeavors.
